Rusty bits

They are covers for the brake and fuel pipes so that they don't get damaged if the car is jacked up in the wrong place. They are always rusting and are super cheap - I carry stock to replace at service. If that's the only thing rusting on your car then you're doing well.

That and the clips that hold the pipes to the chassis. Do you know what part number they are?55775

Mine were replaced by graypaul under warranty, they are not rust protected at all, just black top coat. I’m sure they were only £20 a pair at that time from maserati as they were considered disposable. As has been said a coat of rust treatment or powder coating.

OK folks, I've been in touch with HR Owen.

  1. They are going to list the fitting kits
  2. I told them that other Sports Maserati members want them.
  3. The plate listing with be amended to include the fittings.

Very good service!

Hope this helps...

That's great work, well done. I ordered 2 last night. Do you think they'll include the fittings? (I assume you mean the bolts and washers?) Who did you speak to?

No, the fittings will be a separate listing, so there will be some cost.
Don't have a name, have done this via eBay messaging.
They will send the plates to me first, then fittings (I did suggest they waited and sent both). The fittings are being ordered by them, so not in physical stock at HRO.

The fixings for a pair of plates are £22.50 extra.

HRO did me a special eBay listing and sent me an item number.
Suggest those who want fixings contact via eBay and ask for the same. They've been very helpful, great customer service.

(Future listings for the plates should include the fixings).

Is that £22.50 for 6 bolts with washers?

Ordered me a pair for my 2010 QP 4.7.
As for bolts. Will be a few pence for zinc coated ones.
