I remember when I first told @conaero that I had an Aston. I was terrified that he'd be cross, ashamed or would somehow reject me, cast me out into the wilderness. Instead, I was touched by how well he took it. He's even been happy to include me and my new partner at some Maserati events. He has said that it's difficult with some of the older members because they're less understanding, so I just pretend to be 'between cars', but I can still go along. Some people have said that they've always known I'd have an Aston one day, but I never realised. Anyway, it's just how I am more even than a lifestyle choice.

PS - I'm still bang up for a hard thrash in a Fezza or Maser at any point, mind.

That’s bloody lovely! I like volantes but it wouldn’t fit my child seat in the back- and I prefer the shape of this coupe.

Yep she was a beauty- limited edition - fully loaded and one of only 33 built in that colour and with a bespoke two tone interior - wish I could have kept her.

Only reason to change would be for the new DBS buddy...But that's another shed load of money. They have three at DL in Bristol when I had a gander at the weekend. What a car.

it is a great car- but agree way too much extra money. A huracan has crossed my mind- but too offensive for work. The portofino would be the only true temptation if it was 160. Will take a while to get to get to that level though.

Yeah, you're probably right, Andy. The DB11 AMR is nice, but not different enough to a regular DB11. At list price, though, the DBSS is just far too expensive compared to the DB11 or the Vantage. It needs a different interior to really set it apart.

That's seems a lot of pennies when you can get one for 150/160k......That's close to used DBS money.

AMR DB11 is interesting Adam as was talking to an owner at DL the other week who had a regular car and said the AMR was the car the original always should have been. Review have been very kind to it also. Not sure of the gtaphics pack on such an elegant car. Suits the vantage but maybe not the bigger DB11. I see Aston have just released the Rapide AMR with the old V12. The last time this engine will be used. Sad......

That car is a gorgeous spec but they're smoking crack on that price. The Vanquish S is epic but you can get a perfectly good non-S for half that.
