Infected - The The, is one of the rare albums I can listen to from start to finish also..........
100% Columbian - The Fun Lovin' Criminals
Blood Sugar Sex Magic - The Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Fat of the Land - The Prodigy
Still listen to The The...Rattling around like a lizard in a tin can :)

I am considering my list of three, it’s going to take some time.

Thanks all - there are lots of recommendations that are already familiar to me and some bands I have never heard of.

@jonny - "No One's Fault But Your Own" by The Penny Black Remedy is a strange one. I started thinking ska but then it went a bit folk and then I decided I really didn't know what to call it. Super upbeat tempo and interesting lyrics will result in further listening. Thanks

There are also lots of bands I have previously dismissed as not really liking. On further listening, it seems nothing has changed for a few (TheThe, RHCP and Daft Punk) but I was pleasantly surprised by the Stone Roses and Manic Street Preachers (who I saw support Bon Jovi last year and thought were great live).

Can't wait to listen to more bands I haven't heard of today. Have set myself up this morning with a couple of early ZZ Top albums (just brilliant - you must listen if you associate ZZ Top with Afterburner era) and about to spin Nirvana.

Right, deliberation over, but could not tie it to 3:
  1. Simple Minds - Live in the City of Light
  2. U2 - Joshua Tree
  3. Placebo - Sleeping with ghosts
  4. Massive Attack - Collected
  5. Duran Duran - Rio
The ones that did not quite make it in my top 5:
  1. Oasis - Definitely Maybe
  2. Queen - Greatest Hits (Such a great album)
  3. Gun's and Roses - Appetite for destruction
  4. Metallica - Black (very, very close)
  5. Ian Brown - Greatest

Hounds of Love - Kate Bush has to be on everyone's list...
Great album. First CD I ever got, was meant to pick 10 when I bought the CD player in 1985, couldn't find 10 I wanted in a choice of about 50! Piece of trivia, no cymbals used on it.
