Hi all,

Well too much travel has taken its toll, my P&J isn't getting the driving it deserves, so the time has come to offer it up for some other extremely lucky petrolhead.

For those who don't know the car, here's the spec:

2006 Rame Ghibli Gransport (only 2 ever made in this colour, I believe) with Nero interior.
19000 miles
FMSH
Just serviced and due for MOT on Friday. Brand new brakes, discs, and new ball polished rims.
Lowered
Formula Dynamics Springs, Air Filter, FD Drive by Wire Module, FD custom ECM module (tailor-made for extra torque)

Condition is excellent. The car has been detailed every year by Project Karma since I took ownership of it.

As well as being a very attractive and well cared-for car, the 6K worth of modifications have to make this one of the fastest road-legal Maseratis in the country.

Sorry to hear the cars going Maser Sod......It's a great car in a great colour and I'm sur eit will not stay around for long.....Stunning.

Really sorry to hear you're selling your beautiful Rame Maser Sod! Hope the sale goes well. Someone is going to get to own one h€ll of a car. Thinking about it, where did I put my balaclava :)

Saw it up close at Silverstone recently and thought WOW what a fabulous car,

Yes, seen this car in the flesh and its one of the best, with all the modifications subtly done.

Speaking to Pat yesterday, he assures me that he will be back in the Maserati fold very shortly.

Pat, how about a price?

Price? Ah yes.

Well, think standard market price for GranSports of this age and mileage (check Autotrader), but revise upward a little for the following:

> one of the best GranSport examples out there, in a very rare official (not custom) colour
> FD modifications
> freshly serviced with brand new discs, pads and ball-polised wheels all round (that's 6K's worth in total) - and the tyres + clutch are pretty new also

It could be argued that some or even all of these should not figure in the price, however I did put the car briefly up for sale last year and there was high interest based on colour, condition and the understated power and handling modifications.

Happy to sell it without the Formula Dynamics mods, I can remove them and then either resell or reuse in my next Maser.

Its an 06 car isnt it not?

I would bung it up for £33k private and look for no more than £1500 off it.

Awe just caught this one , i for one will be sorry to see this masser go from Pats ownership , believe me guys i have seen close up a few gransports in my time ( too many, and probably a lot more than most ) this is the cream of the cream without doubt (sorry urby) its cleaner than yours , without doubt the best i have seen and in Rami makes such a statement, no other colour sets off ball polished rims aswell as this one, Pats work commitments means this car has been under worked, and Pats driving style means that it has been under driven , so some lucky owner is going to get the benefit of all those goodies , WELL WORTH THE EXTRA PREMIUM in my eyes, if your thinking of upgrading anyone this is the car

Looking forward already to getting my next Maser, whatever it is! Off to get the GranSport m.o.t.'ed with **** Lovett Cardiff tomorrow, will spend a bit of time nosing around their used cars. I'll be after something interesting, either through colour combo or rarity. Ghibli Cup is top of the list, but they're as rare as rocking horse sh!t so I guess I'll have to wait for that one.

Will get whatever colour is available. They are so rare, you can't really pick and choose.
Put the car into **** Lovett today so they can MOT and sell it. Apparently they need to strip off the FD mods in order to be able to sell it with a warranty. Seems a real shame.
If anyone is genuinely interested in the car and would like it with the mods, then contact me directly. I can always pull it back from DL. Seems a real shame to undo all that work and the rewards reaped from it...

I cant find it on **** lovetts but i am looking for a GS.
I am not too sure of the colour but have been informed that its nice "in the flesh".
I would like to see more images if possible
