I did think it was a great price for an 06 Pat......

Agreed, thats a great price from a main agent. I would have though mid-£30k's at least.

Loz, I did think long and hard about this as I know Pat has looked after it and, key for me, you'll not see another on the streets. I've not rules it out, but I really want a full avorio interior/dark exterior I think....

Pat, good luck sorting this out, keep us posted!

Just had a look back for the pics, but cant see them. Isnt this the exact same colour?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006...iewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item53e278e484

And then the one in UAE....so three RG GS's globally? A rare beast indeed.....

Wow, brilliant! I've waited a long time to find out where the other one(s) lived, I had only ever seen photos of one other, and that was a LHD press car. Even the Maserati factory PR guy claimed not to recognise Rame Ghibli as an official colour!

This one's identical to mine, other than the fact that mine has a copper rather than carbon rear spoiler, and I don't have those strange orange indicators.

Update.
I've communicated with **** Lovett today, they apologize for any misunderstanding and will be altering the price.
The FD modifications will be removed as this is necessary for the warranty, Loz has first refusal on these.
Good luck with the hunt Woody, dark colours are great also on the GranSport. I would have chosen a black one had I not seen my current ride in the flesh and wanted the exclusivity.
If you can, try to get hold of a GS with a known history, ie. one with a careful owner from this or a similar forum, we all watched a silver one being sold last year for a very attractive price, turned out it had been ragged to bits.
I'm sure you know this already, but factor tyres, disks, pads, clutch wear into any bid. I spent 4K this year on servicing, disks and pads only, these are costs which can be used to whittle down the screen price on any car which falls short in said areas. Dealerships should be able to give you the % clutch wear with a reading off the SD3.
Not sure which area you live in, but I'm happy to help out with any inspection if it's not too far from home. And I'm in the UK of course!
Pete, love the idea of the Easy GranSport!

ah, just seen that you live in Herts, probably a bit far to go unless you spot something nearer this way.
FWIW, I think there's a dark coloured GS at **** Lovett Swindon for 37K.

Thanks for the advice/offer. I will definately travel for the right car (went on a 3hr train journey last week to see a runaround!) so if I do find one your way, I'll definately drop you a PM. Good luck with the sale.

Yep, seen this. Nice and new too. Saw a grey/red at ADG a few months back wich looked stunning in the flesh. Photo's dont do some of these cars justice!

The grey car a DL waqs for sale on PH before they got it for 35995 from another dealer...Thought it had sold then a week or so later turned up at DL for 37995...Wonder what they paid for it. Will say it is one of the nicest for sale at the moment.

Really? God damnit, I'm watching GS's like a hawk and didnt see that on PH at all. Good to know though. Which dealer was it?

I know dealers do this, I saw a Bianco Eldorado one for sale at a dealer a year or two back which then went to Carrs for a few grand more.

I'm not sure...I will try and have a think...They advertise cars alot on PH.....Thay had it up for 37 first and then dropped it to 36....It looked lovely but was on there for a while..It has to be the same..Same spec and 19k on the clock..Sold then turns up a week later at DL.

Its the only one I've seen in that colour/spec and age. Keen to know who had it before, especially if they have a few!

It was the only one they had...It wasn't a specialist but a 'normal' car dealer.

Cheers Andy, the ball polished wheels and extra lowering make all the difference in my opinion.
Car is now priced more sensibly too. ;-)

I love those Ball polished wheels and looks really great lowered, good luck in finding your next purchase? you found anything that takes your fancy?

Not a big fan of ball polished and would prefer anthracite but they do suit rame really well...The lowering of the car makes it look really purposeful...Love it Pat. Wish I had the funds to be honest.
