6. Mexico was New Spain after the conquidators invaded, otherwise various names depending on the area and time. Yes I have been to the Museo Nacional de Antropología...my mother in law took me. The only reason why I was glad i got there was the journey on the Mexico City 'public transport system'...

Well I don't but can guess Eswatini is Lesotho and Benin (pretty sure) was Dahomey

Does anyone like the idea of a question of the day quiz thread. The idea being you post a question on any subject. Post an image to identify the object or car part or post part of a songs lyrics for the other members to guess. The person who gets the right answer then posts the next question. If we avoid google then it could be fun and keeps people coming back to the site. If a question doesnt get answered after 2 days then the answer is given and a new question is posed.

Yeah, its a good idea for question a day. People are finding difficult to check vehicle tax, so we can create a question regarding it and post solutions for them.

Close, I guess. Why Wilhelm? Anyway, Wilhelm not really a germanic city name, that you would indeed want to expunge during WW1.
The choice of Kitchener as a replacement was a late addition to the shortlist of possible names (Adanac, Brock, Benton, Corona and Keowana), as the famous Field Marshall Kitchener had recently died.
