Question of the day

I got frustrated and looked this up, and my extensive research (looking at one Wikipedia page) suggests that:
(a) There are fewer than 10 towns or cities in the USA called Paris
(b) There is NO town or city in Panama called Paris
(c) There is arguably just 1 town called Paris outside of France and the USA, and even that is questionable
(d) If we take the broadest possible interpretation of what constitutes a town or city, people could guess for a week and still only come up with one more country with a Paris in it

BUT, the QM is always right.....

I debated long and hard (well 30 secs) about this but maybe I should have added the Community to the Town & City guidance in the question, I decided locations that still exist where people have live counted - well it did in my mind

I'm pretty sure there is a Paris in Denmark, as it was mentioned in a book I read about the Battle of Jutland in WW1.

And having watched Gas Monkey Garage, I'm sure there's a Paris in Texas.

There is another one, apparently a hamlet of approx. 12 people

  • USA
  • Canada
  • Panama
  • Denmark
  • ?
  • ?

I will accept that one of the remaining ones is uninhabited today

I have a question?....

What consequence should there be for Mark in response?

I thought Google and Wikipedia are both banned, and whilst some on here may applaud the distinction between a town, city, community, there may be other who are silently sitting at their computer and thinking :1408::1408::1408::no::no::no:

I'm absolutely in agreement that Google, Wikipedia, etc, are not allowed to assist in answering a question. But I don't see why they should not be allowed (or even encouraged) to support whining and moaning about the question.

But are they correct? Sounds like Brexit "debates" all over again!

No problem with people using and source material research answers, even if the research supports inaccuracies in the question, however it is a totally pointless task because

THE QM IS ALWAYS RIGHT
