OK, let's stick with Paris, apart from France 6 other countries have at least one town or city called Paris can you name them?

And just for Catman, one country has more than one Paris but how many in total does it have?

I know there’s one in Canada, in Ontario, and I think the US almost has a town called Paris in every other state, so I’m going to guess at 10+ in the US...

America has a few, not sure how many, but Ohio does, I've been there, and Arkansas has one, I've heard of it. We know Texas does, so I'll guess at 8 in the US, another couple round the world.

  1. USA
  2. Canada
3.
4.
5.
6.

USA has many, best guess 10+ is correct but not accurate enough

This could turn into a game of higher or lower.... The US has 52 states, 1/2 of this is 26, so I will guess it has c.25 towns called Paris.

In terms of other places, what about either the Arctic circle or Antarctica?

Have I mentioned that multiple questions don't really work in this context? :announce::as001 (2)::f2:

Wrong on all counts, less than 25

Good guess, Panama is correct, we now have 3
  1. USA
  2. Canada
  3. Panama
  4. ?
  5. ?
  6. ?

I got frustrated and looked this up, and my extensive research (looking at one Wikipedia page) suggests that:
(a) There are fewer than 10 towns or cities in the USA called Paris
(b) There is NO town or city in Panama called Paris
(c) There is arguably just 1 town called Paris outside of France and the USA, and even that is questionable
(d) If we take the broadest possible interpretation of what constitutes a town or city, people could guess for a week and still only come up with one more country with a Paris in it

BUT, the QM is always right.....
