And I thought E Types and 911s were silly money. £94k for a bubble and lawnmower engine!

It does make you think. Bubble car with three wheels, three gears and no reverse and an engine with 4.2 BHP. It does have a windscreen wiper though!

There was a company in Rodley, Leeds that made a titchy car. Also the actual Dusty Bin was crafted in Rodley. Used to live there. Well, round the corner in Farsley...

Also I believe David Brown had a workshop there, and built the platforms are early Aston's there, I read/was told that they used to test the basic chassis/engine/drive train etc around the streets of Rodley before they were sent off to Newport Pagnell presumably to have the bodies fitted.

Seems the DB2 was built at Farsley (not Rodley, pretty close tho)..

Today is Black Friday but where was the term first used and what was it originally used to describe? (there is a specific answer I need)

I always thought it was used to describe the traffic jams after Thanks Giving where everyone rushed to the sales in the US, whereas some people do the same on Boxing Day in the UK.

Well that is the bit of information I was after, it was originally used to describe traffic increases on road and trains the day after Thanksgiving.

Any one want to give me the US city that originally used the term for this purpose?

Does Tottenham have a US equivalent?

There we go, over to you

Oh sugar - I thought the answer you were looking for was about the fact it referred to the congestion caused by shoppers the day after Thanksgiving. Mark (Geoff) got that bit right, and I just tidied up with the specifics of which city...

I will now have to think about a question.
