To be clear, ModelT's issue is the sensor. The original post before this was about it being too hot, and that seems like the actuator.

And yes, the sensor will be in the controls. Clean the grille first as lack of airflow will cause this.

No, I found it now. It is in the AC control panel, the two little grills, but I think only the left has a sensor in it. I blew in it and immediately got 28-29 degrees and then it dropped to 23.5. I think it needs compressed air and maybe some sort of cleaner. A titchy bit of EGR cleaner would be my last resort with immediate compressed air to evaporate it before it settled too much. I will see how compressed air does first.

Glad it was where I said, pleased to have helped.

Suggest you use a brush and a vacuum before blasting anything in there. It will all be dust rather than anything greasy.
