I've emailed about this. stonking price....ok mileage is high but they deal with the best of the best, so it'll be impeccable and the extended warranty is attractive!!

If a deal can be had I'm tempted. just bought another house and this would be the nuts in the driveway- it would cover less than a couple of K a year so the mileage will equal out.

once bitten, forever smitten!!!

Go for it. I can't believe it is not sold. Shows how difficult the market is.

Its funny, you hear a lot of bad things about them, mainly related to how they manage themselves in public and their attitudes, specifically the younger Hartleys.

However, you don't often hear bad about their cars/products - makes me wonder if the whole racist/chav comments made on social media are all merely a publicity stunt, and a successful one at that.

Interesting !!! is a 2008 4.7 really worth double what i have just paid for my 06 4.2 with less miles on ?

Andy, I know Dicky has driven the 4.7 and owned a 4.2 and he says they are worlds apart performance wise....The thing that lets it down for me is the ugly grill...Yours looks much better.....

I honestly believe this car is pretty good value for money. If you've just bought a 2006 car for sub £15k with less miles then you achieved an absolute bargain. I did see it when it was on eBay and if I remember correctly it needed a service etc but still a great bargain nonetheless.

Very good point Dicky, to be honest i have a list of approx 30 jobs that need doing, most are very minor and are for my own personal gratification and luckily i have the ability and the workshop to handle most jobs however complicated, at the moment i have a large box of parts sitting in my office waiting to be fitted including all the service items.

I am very lucky to have a very old friend who runs a porsche specialist local to me who carries out some sub-contract work for Migliore cars, so any specialist work requiring Maserati test equipment gets done as a favour.

I was very lucky to get the car at the price i did, the chap who was selling it is a trader and the car was his own personal transport, but due to medical problems it had sat on his drive unused for over 6 months, and un-loved, it took over an hour to clean all the green muck from around the window rubbers !

If the 4.7 is that good i may be interested in trading up in about 18 months time, so make a note in your diary Dicky.

I'd be more than happy to find one for you. I've been offered a few recently but they don't seem to be selling, some have been for sale a while.

Tell them you'll pay full asking price if they extend the Maserati warranty for another year, worst that can happen is they say no.

If the warranty has elapsed, they can't extend it anyway, no matter how nicely anyone asks, Maserati policy.

Wattie seemed to think it has a Maserati warranty in force, upto what age can you extend the warranty?
