I think if you read the small print of your warranty, the dodgy ones have a cap of something silly like £30 per hour, I cant get it valeted for that.
Its not a formal warranty as dealerships are required to at least provide 3 months self insured warranty. I deal with MILS solicitors who are motor industry specialists and they state that it is reasonable for a customer to expect up to 6 months post purchase cover. You cannot caveat by using ana22wd an upper limit on cost under the sale of goods act but you can under a formal warranty. I'll let you know how I get on.
At least Millbrook is only 4 doors down from the garage that the dealership has sent the car to.
Problems was a failed pressure plate. New clutch and bearing being fitted and cost being picked up by the supplying dealer which is a reasonable result!
Steve it always worth taking your time getting it into R as the toggle and brake switch are easy to do out of sinc...and end up with it still in 1st
