I bought one of these 3.8s in Germany and brought it back to England. Shims and individual throttle bodies meant tuning every 6k miles. The V8 and V10s that followed were much better for me.

The brown Interceptor from the show still exists and is being restored, along with another Interceptor (in silver) which appeared in a couple of episodes and belonged to Gerry Anderson's business partner Reg Hill.
