When I see the above, I can't get the below outta my head:Back to the discussion on old Astons - my pal's 1974 V8 recently collected from the Aston Workshop near Durham after some pretty serious fettling. I haven't asked him what the bill was! They've got a showroom full of fantastic stuff and do a lot of overseas work - there was a DB6 in Silver Birch as per Bond in from HK. There's also another showroom next to nice pub where they have other stuff all next to Beamish museum but none of it is open on weekends.

Really?! You need glasses my friend . What even is that?
Pretty sure it's a Chevrolet Monza the only plus point it did have the option of a V8 but even then the 5.7l version was strangled to only have 125 BHPReally?! You need glasses my friend . What even is that?

Owning the Opel GT, I have some knowledge on this one. Opel was in bed with GM at the time and the GT was sold via their Buick dealers and styled by the Corvette designer.Steady on! Worse than a Cavalier?! They’re all GM products though.
The Chevrolet Monza is based on the Vega. It’s a completely different car to the Opel Monza.Owning the Opel GT, I have some knowledge on this one. Opel was in bed with GM at the time and the GT was sold via their Buick dealers and styled by the Corvette designer.
The bodies were built by the French and assembled by the Germans.
It stands to reason that this dealer selling extended to later 70's Opel models such as the Monza (as seen above)
Today, Opel/Vauxhall is now a part of Stellantis Group with our beloved Maserati brand.
Great Jenson, the maker was well ahead of its time! Really well ahead of its time in comparison to anything on the market. And made in my home town. Some examples from busy evening at Wheels on Wednesday.

And this one was in the background of Tuesday's Midland Today 6o'clock news when they did a bulletin about the restoration of the Aston Martin Bulldog

There would have been more but we got side-tracked chatting and had to leave at 6pm (and visit Mr RR's 90 year mum in hospital - she was pulled over by her dog on Tuesday and had a partial hip replacement yesterday - can't complain about NHS efficiency to date from Worcester Royal) but still there was a 1/4mile 60+ queue to enter.
That makes me feel a bit queasy. I wonder how the aileron was adjusted? Now thats a statement , obviously a headlight manufacturer prototype
