Got uglier every generation.

Im beginning to like the new 3/4 series. The e36 was absolutely slated when it came out and the e30 came in for a load of criticism for not looking like a BMW too.

I can’t fathom why companies spend billions on developing new cars only to alienate half the potential buyers with the looks. Most modern vehicles are efficient enough, it’s not rocket science just just get the Italians to design the bodywork!

completely agree, sacrilege to do that to a valuable classic, it's just that it now has that aggressive cobra type of look to it

It’ll be based on one of the fibreglass ones you can get. It’s gopping though! When you do that to a modern car it works but not on a shape from the 50s.

Not my read. Looks like a checkbox: 'Air, slammed, crazy camber, splitters, wide arches to fit the daft wheels'
I'd lay dollars to donuts it's got 15MW of 'power' in the 'audio' system as well. Aggression needs purpose but each to their own so what you like, you go for!

Yeah, the arches don't add much to the looks. But then the original bulges above the wheels were a bit odd.
