Who was it Phil, the AUDI/NSU dealer in Walsall. A racing driver Steve something. Only known as I was blessed with an NSU Pinz.
Saw on in Cirencester car park last year. Mind a lot were butchered with replacement engines
No clutch pedal gear shift

The one you saw in Cirencester was probably Classic & Sportscar scribe Martin Buckley's car as he lives in that area.

The Sixties really began on October 1962.
On Sunday October 7, 1962 “Dr. No”, the first official James Bond film, was released in over 100 cinemas in the UK. The World Premiere was held on 5th October - the same day as The Beatles released their first single “Love Me Do”. Together The Beatles and Dr. No would largely shape what we know as the Sixties and both were ultimately part of a cultural revolution that transformed British society.
James Bond's first car was a Sunbeam Alpine Series II (being the first film based on the Ian Fleming novels, there were no vehicles supplied by manufacturers for the prestige of being in a 007 movie). The film had a budget of less than £1m so, to keep costs in check, the car was borrowed from a Jamaican resident (and was one of only a few sports cars on the island).

We got ours in envelopes with holes to check the coins and a flap to tear for checking the notes. Summer bakery work as students - permanent nights=£££. Ran a 3.8 MkII Jag on the proceeds!

I got those even in the late 80s. Not for long, mind

Interesting, is it a HF or just a look alike? The opening Qtr lights would suggest the former but there are some later HF Lussos without the HF shell
It's the S from France through Tony at Fulvia Classics prepared for Sprints and Hill Climbs.
Got the Alloy panels and the motor has been modified.
Not to everyone's taste but certainly ours Andy.

Love these, have been thinking about selling the Biturbo when it comes back from Shiltech and getting one, don't mind which model really as they're all appealing. For some reason a lot of people don't like the later cars with the raised outer headlamps for the UK market, I don't mind at all as ironically it makes them look even more Italian.
