I once childminded for Richard Curtis and Emma Fraud when they went to the opening of the Millenium done - I didn't have a clue who they were and did ask how they managed to get tickets for that! They also had Hugh Grants phone number lying around - I did wonder if it was THE H G.............

A few years back, one of my team who ran our business in Asia and lived in Hong Kong was invited to lunch with some ex pat friends who were keen petrol heads and had all bought Ferraris. My man, Erik from Holland, was not really in this car league but he accepted the invitation from the local importer and had a very good lunch. Over coffee at the end of the meal, he thought he would ask his charming host what he did for Ferrari. The charming and elegantly dressed 65 year old man replied 'I am the President and Chairman'. And so Erik had spent the previous two hours sat opposite Luca di Montezemilo, completely oblivious. I mentioned that I would like to be included next time!
