Personally having worked on 2CV's and Renault 4's the 4 is so much better in many ways and that's why I bought mine.

Guy buys classic cars from the year of his birth 1950, many running and driving then leaves them to rot because he can, what a waste

The most damning condemnation of an iconic piece of sh!t I’ve ever heard; if it’s nowhere near as good as a Renault 4, scrap them all, crush the machinery that makes them and shoot the perpetrator responsible in the head. Then nuke the country that inflicted it on humanity.

Drive one. We value Maserati for the sense of occasion. A 2cv is a laugh a minute. I don’t advocate driving one for 100 miles, but popping to the shops for a 20 minute drive in reasonable weather, it’s hilarious. And to put a smile on your face, priceless. Or 5k depending upon where you buy it.

My college lecturer had a 2CV - he lived out in the sticks somewhere
He came in one morning all dis heartened after visiting family in Salisbury plain and got hit by a ****** tank!
Needless to say it was a write off, this was early 80’s so no insurance on military vehicles as they had Crown Immunity

what a good idea that was - licence to mix alcohol, ammunition, anything that went BANG, with young men absolutely convinced of Immortality and completey free from the risk of prosecution!
