Well, had a very apprehensive Urby on the phone all day today, his mammoth cycling journey, in memory of his 2 dearly departed friends, to Barcelona commences tomorrow and he is already having stress due to the ferries from Portsmouth being on strike.

Some jiggerypoker and he is now off to Southampton instead to pick up a train to Poole where him and his support vehicle will be getting the Condor Hispeed to Cherbourg.

I am sure you will all join me in wishing the 'old bu99er' all the best and a safe trip back to Blighty.

Well, I have an update on the old blighter.

He called me today, saying that he had a sore @rse and he feels like...... 'I have had 400 pricks up my @rse' (his words not mine) to which I replied, 'you know what that feels like then yes?' :nottalking:

Urby has just hit Bordeux and has said that his is sick of looking at cattle in fields...he looks at them, they look at him, its all very rural by the sounds of it.

So, Urby being Urby got him and a horses head electrocuted yesterday when he went to pat one on the head. The horse stuck his head out, Urby his hand out and they both electrocuted themselves on the fence. Both as daft as each other by the sounds of it.

He has also seen a bear bounding through a field and a snake.

The support vehicle (Kia) has broken down and he says he misses having 400 horse power instead of the 1 donkey power he has at the moment.

Keep it up fella!!!
