Well done Mav love the innovation.

The dealer had the pipe replaced on mine prior to purchase, it's quite a big job they had to take off the exhaust manifold, steering rack and so on. They resolved that oil leak issue but the guy who did the job did not refit the power steering pipe properly so the union to the steering box was not tight, hence replaced one major oil leak with another. I got Autofficina to refit the PS pipe which took a few hours labour but it's sorted now.

Bottom of the engine oil reservoir tank in the OSF wing, you have to take the front under tray off to see it.

Is it worth, if your nut has not split, to slip a jubilee clip around the nut, to exert compression pressure to hopefully prevent the nut from splitting?
...then with a luggage label attached saying 'no it hasn't broke yet'!

The hose will be a Ferrari supplied part shipped on the built engine, the tank will be a cheap as chips Maserati build. Result is disparate materials coming together resulting in a premature failure. I'd suggest if you look to add a preemptive jubilee clip it should be stainless like the braid so as not to add to the mix. I cannot see that adding a jubilee clip would be in any way detrimental and yes a label would likely save a call from your friendly indy when they find it.
