Newbie Dealer in Kent!!

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this is in the right place to post this but as we are new, I thought a good place to start.

As of today 15/01/2014 Motorline Maserati in Maidstone Kent have opened the doors. The website should be live today as well if anyone would like to have a browse.

The team here is myself Nick Pell and my colleague Damian Kirby. If there is anyone in the local (or not so local) area please pop in and say hi! we are both new to the brand but with Motorline backing the venture I'm sure it will be a success.
We are currently sitting in an empty showroom, but we have been promised by Maserati Uk that we will have our first cars here by the weekend! We also have a brand new coffee machine but no-one to test it yet!

We are in Bircholt road in Maidstone ME15 9XY next door to Mercedes Benz. If you want to pop down for a chat, and take a look at the new facilities, please do or call either myself or Damian on 01622 233111.

We look forward to meeting the many Kent and surrounding area Maserati owners soon.

Best of luck

Any thoughts on the reasons for Motorline going in to selling Massers? Just looking at the other manufacturers that they sell and the only other "premium" brand is Lexus. Just wondered what their thoughts were, do they expect a decent volume of sales from the new Ghibli?

Welcome to the best Maserati forum in the world. Great to see new Maserati dealers emerge, I wish you every success.

Now, I would like an extremely generous discount on a new MC Stradale and possibly a Ghibli for every day duties please!

hi guys,

thanks for the replies. We are as i said brand new to the brand but hoping that as we are the only dealer in the south east we can tempt a few customers our vway. This is a new venture for Motorline and they are keen to get a presence in the South East with a premium brand. Plus with so much going on in the Maserati world right now I think its the right time.

We are expecting our Ghibli demo to be with us in Feb so come in and take a look! MAF260 I'm not sure what this "discount" word is your talking about..... lol but we're happy to chat to you about Ghibli, Stradale, or anything else with a trident on the grill.

Discount. Significant dealer contribution. 50% off voucher. They're all the same? I'm definitely not buying a Stradale anyway. No, sir!

Great to chat too Matt, most definatley if you in the area come see the lines and lines of Ghibli's that we are sure to get.....Very soon??

Welcome to the madhouse...........Good to have a southern dealer on the forum.
you'll enjoy the passion and the frustration with the Maserati brand.......especially the frustration.........

We opened our dealership recently, so know what you are going through.
Any help or advice I can offer please give me a shout.............

Hi Gary,

Thanks again for the warm welcome. well we have now got our showroom cars so thats a start!! so its starting to feel more like a proper showroom.

I think I know already what you mean about the passion and frustration! lol...... but still smiling and will be even more once we have our demo's registered!

no doubt we'll be calling for some of that friendly advice youve offered soon enough.
