Went to the pre launch in March and spoke to Les Edgar he was saying that electronic aids will be distinctly lacking, and by the way what a great man he was to meet he had time to speak to everyone that approached him.

Lets hope it's in tradition and has no driver aids :) That was part of their charm of old for me.
Yeah, part of the original charm for me as well. A little bit of traction control could be useful in the wet I expect.

Will it be racing at Le Mans next year? Certainly hope so, the Vantage is getting long in the tooth and I really enjoyed the GT racing this year, neck and neck all through the race.

Yes, for between 3 and 5 laps before it blows up

Is it just me that thinks the front looks like a Pikacu of whatever you call them.

Think the original renders look better than this but good to have them back

Good call. Lots of similarities at the front end.

Would consider it at 40k for a fun weekend drive.
At circa 90k vs a 'Cavallino Rampante' that does 0-60 in 3.8, 198mph, is a convertible +2 and has a balance of service pack left, or a Well Specced nearly new 911 if you like teutonic efficiency: I would struggle to comprehend. Or vs a lovely Strad at mid 60s.
Thats just my opinion though.

Agreed MX-5 looks for sure from the front end but that's not a bad thing as I love the ND (Mk4) MX-5. On my to do list in the next year for sure.

Flicking through the TV channels the other night I saw a bit of Gogglebox. Couldn't help but notice that outside the house of the gay hairdressers in Brighton was an MX-5. Just saying.
