As has been said before…..this car will improve through the production run….the end of life Trofeo could have MC20 power, different bumpers and lights…..

I'm interested to know what can be done without messing with any electronics as I suspect that doing that will cause warranty issues. Will a new set of pipes/cats etc be sufficient or will the new GT through codes and go into a hissy fit.

If only I knew someone with a garage that could try it when the time comes....
Hum :)

What’s wrong with the red?! The problem is I’d have to have a second hand one which would have been spec’ed by you lot. You do know they changed the test card to colour in 1967 and there are other holiday destinations apart from Skegness?

I like red but not that one. It may be the light they have photographed it in but it doesn’t show off the car for a launch car colour.

:clap:I love the red! lol.

Re-the design - I also didn't like the headlights initially but they have grown on me. (still prefer the ones on the earlier car though) Love the rear, brings it up to date with the MC20 lights. The rest, well, its almost the same as the outgoing one, so that a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

I still don't like the front air intakes much, but I didn't like the ones on the 2018 car either. I don't know why they are so angular on what is otherwise an entirely curvy car.
However, I WILL put up with them if someone wants to buy me one.
I agree with that not fan of the front lights looks epic from every other angle bar the front one

To be fair, this is getting “oohs” from even non-Maserati aficionados…

Personally think this is a design classic and have thought so since we saw the first proper un draped shot earlier on this thread…

Why would you get a 911, AM or a significantly more expensive Roma over this?

Two reasons probably for many I would imagine…Reliability and dealer network. Lots still will not bother due to reliability reputation which Maserati still are saddled with.

Price will play a major part in success as well. PH said it is pitched between the 8 series BMW and the Bentley so that is a bit of a window. They need to undercut all the major competitors to just bring customers in but on the past I don’t think they will…120k/130k sounds about right but I fear it will
be 140k to 150k. There needs to be a big gap between this and the MC20 cost wise.

Even so I would have one at the drop of a hat and it’s stunning from every angle.
