There’s a lot of car parks round here that read your front number plate to allow you to leave.
Same here - I keep the plate in the boot just in case but most give up and open the barrier anyway and so long as I have paid it’s not an issue. I have seen someone reverse out which is properly silly, hence keeping a plate handy.

So, how is that plate held on? Is there not some form of bracket?
I’m about to order a new plate for mine, so it’s a good opportunity for me to change the method of attachment.
Get a smaller plate. Fix it on some hinges and hang underneath the splitter. Go fast enough and the airflow will lift it going passed speed cameras and coming up to a toll it will drop down. :excellent:

She looks great, Scaf. I see it has the exterior carbon pack (of mirrors, door handles and rear spoiler), which is a nice touch. And as Zep said, you may as well drive it before you wash it.
Next up, get the MC Stradale branding side stickers - they look superb on a white car.

Need some interior pics as well. Even if it does have 2 superfluous seats :)

Wonderful car and TOP colour well done. I'd never had a white car before (I think) but when I first saw the bianco eldorado it looked, and still does look, cream colour to me. That with the red calipers and tinted glass just adds up so well. And it's a really easy colour to look after too. Being a flat paint (non-metallic) stone chips on the front - they will come if you use it - are really easy to remedy at home perfectly with a little patience.

Press that race button!

(correction: White MG Metro turbo with waste gate deleted, crapped out in Germany and is still there, as oxide I'm sure)

Well I have been out and about and I have to say it’s a surprisingly different drive to the GTS, in a good way.
Far less skittish and in its own way a little more refined which I was not expecting. Guess that’s the lack of skyhook in sport mode.
From inside the cabin it sounds very different to the GTS and dare I say quieter o_O, but that might be that I was taking care as I get used to it.
All in all very very pleased !!

If you live outside of the Scottish Borders is it possible to get a straight forward Stradale or are they all McStradale?

I’m half Scottish, and my car lived in Scotland for a long time so yes, it’s a McStradale!
