If you remove this bracket, how/where are you going to attach the front plate?

Wouldn't that mean painting the bumper?

No, they fill it and colour the section. As Zep has show. On the black car, I used Velcro once the repair was done which was difficult to spot, the white car might need one of those folding plate things, ask @conaero how he does his.

Well done, what a lovely car....and if you going to have one have a white rather than all the black. Love it.

Good work Sam, look forward to seeing you in it soon, once the Covid chaos finishes and Maserati madness resumes

I have run my current car for 4 years and 20,000 miles and no front plate with no issue, attaching. plate with tape for the MOT.
I just make sure I prepay and tolls.

White certainly was the most popular, being the most common colour for a Strad. Followed by grey. Part of the reason I like the black (apart from the look), is the rarity. But there’s no “bad” colour for a Strad, as the red, blue and yellow options all look good as well.

There’s a lot of car parks round here that read your front number plate to allow you to leave.

Do like a blue......and more reds would be good. Suprised me on the blacks as there seems a lot in this colour....Perhaps it's just on here....blacks and grey.

If you add the different shades of black together, and then add the different grays, then yes, this would be the most.
On this forum, the figures are:
white 7
grey 6
black 5
blue 1
red 1
yellow 1

Are you lumping my grey in name only, and which we all know is really silver, in with all the other real greys? :)

So, how is that plate held on? Is there not some form of bracket?
I’m about to order a new plate for mine, so it’s a good opportunity for me to change the method of attachment.
I had a small plate like Zep’s pic before removing altogether- and used the existing holes, once I had the holes fixed, I used 3m tape if ever I needed the plate attached.
