There models and there are models ... The one Miles has bought is in a different league to the ones we have and for that you have to pay.

Autoart have always been expensive, they used to be about 50 quid, not now, they are from about 70-180, depending on which model you go for.

Adam, try the.... "but it's an investment".... ploy. Yes it's just a model, but just imagine the man hours that went into making it. Models like that don't loose money. Given time and the right choice of model, you'll be able to put another 0 on the end of the price.

Almost nicer that the real thing....can smell those hot petrol fumes from the carbs from here......brilliant model....................who makes them...hard to find?.....can you put up pics of all your collection...favs....1.2.3?

They're made by CMC. I don't have a big collection at all, but want all the CMC Maserati's. There are six, two versions of the 250F (mine is the limited edition Fangio version) and three versions of the Birdcage (in addition to the one I have there's a limited edition Stirling Moss and a body-off chassis version). Then finally it'll be the transporter. I have some other Maserati models besides, which Andy pointed me to, that I haven't photographed yet. Will get round to it at some point.
