Well after saying that I wouldn't, what did I go and do but buy myself another Maserati.

Have to say I'm really chuffed with her. Just need to get her a garage and maybe a Birdcage to keep her company.

Only the second model I've bought P. The first being a Grigio Nuvolari 4200 of course. :) Won't be the last though. There are at least two more CMC models I'm keen to add. Already dropping not very subtle hints to Mrs Tee.

Miles that is just a stunning model ...

Thanks Andy, I've been intrigued to note she has one small idiosyncrasy, which I'm going to contact CMC about. A pint of CdeM to anyone that can spot it.

Miles,

The photos you posted have got me staring, amazed at the incredible detail. In the metal it must be quite captivating.
A wonderful acquisition. Have you lovingly waxed it, yet?

Haha, Oooh yes David. She's now safe and sound back in her box awaiting her display case. Bizarrely the photo's (especially when I zoom in) have highlighted details I couldn't see before, mind you my eyesight is cr@p! :) Note to self, stop buying unnecessary Maserati related trinkets and get your d@mned prescription checked. :)

Well duh, everyone knows that Fangio's 250F didn't have the vent panel under the windscreen.....

at least I can't see it in the period pics I've googled so far !!!!

Haha, good work Paco, the evidence is vague..

But no, it's not to do with the authenticity of the model's heritage, but rather the making of it in the example I have.
