It's probably interpreting spunky in the Aussie sense. You know how the Aussies love their spunk!

How cum spunked isn't a banned forum word that cums up as *******? :)

Because it is an American swear filter that won't let you have d@mn or n!p but will let you have cum spunked tit and bollox... Go figure!

So are all car leases. And your point is?

99% of cars depreciate, there's no news in that.

I lease a car for work so understand the benefits. £28k is a lot for a Ghibli and I doubt it beats the residuals. I would only lease if it made financial sense beating any depreciation if the vehicle was bought outright and this Ghibli deal for me doesn't make sense.

Spotted this the other day:
New Ghibli lease on 9+48 for £475 a month for 10k miles pa. £6.8k pa for 4 years struck me as great value, although I haven't dug any deeper or looked to see what others are doing.

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/maserati/ghibli/saloon/v6d_4dr_auto/62024.html

That is interesting, as the MDs told me that the ghibli deals have got worse this year - from 15% off to 10% off RRP.
Seems like they are offering a very competitive deal. I wonder if it is just to clear their stock and they have a lot of Diesels.

For many it's not as simple as that. Where I agree, and actually have one owned, one leased and one car on HP in my family, many people simple want to have an "affordable" monthly payment and no further responsibility. Especially companies who can chose not to have the asset on their balance sheet.

I hear you and agree, just making debate as I know several people who lease religiously and don't care about any other aspect including the true cost.

If you were doing less than 10k a year wouldn't you be better off in a petrol?
