Your won't go wrong there Jon....great tyreI’ve just ordered a set of 4 Michelin Pilot 4S.... it was between these and the Continental SportContact 6 as the only two where I could get all 4 tyres the same..l
Ooodles of stick Jon, I'm chuffed with mine all round now. Hope you can get something for the pair you got on the hurry up last week!
I got some PS4s about 3 weeks ago, only 150 miles or so but seem fine and a bit quieter and more compliant than the Pirellis they replaced (though that could be as the old ones were 6 years old and cracking).
Prices seem good on these at the moment, last year I paid over £700 for a set on the wife's Z4M but these were £605 from Protyre - Kwik Fit were £20 more but with a free dashcam.

Ah... didn’t realise they were wider... ta for that info.Actually, your FD wheels aren't identical in size. The standard fronts are 8" wide and the rears are 9.5" wide. FD increase both by half an inch to 8.5" and 10".
As a result they recommend that 245 instead of 235 can be used on the front, and 275 instead of 265 on the rear.
The above applies for both 18" or 19" wheels.
Regarding aspect ratios you need to stick to the OEM, being 35/30 for 19" wheels and 40/35 for the 18" wheels.
Anyone got any experience of Yokohama’s? They used to be fantastic but made from chewing gum. Haven’t heard about them in recent years but they seem a good price?

What's the consensus on fitting different versions of the same tyre front and rear? (Same on one axle is a given.)Discussed here previously I know, but I'm not sure Goodyear do a matching set of tyres in GS sizes currently:
