My 3200 GT

Afternoon Chaps,

A bit late I know, but I thought I’d finally introduce myself and my 3200. As some of you may know I was looking for a 3200 for about 8 months before this purchase which coincidentally fell just days before my 20th birthday. Yesterday marked the first year with the car and despite doing less than 200 miles I have loved it.

It’s not been without some bills but that was expected, the most recent modification as of last week is the pedals. I hated the rubber covers after seeing a set of drilled pedals on an Assetto Corsa but the cost of them made the idea look silly (£900 plus VAT), Ultimate Pedals also offered a solution but these were not genuine Maserati items. Then I came across the Vintage Pedal set from Maserati and I think you’ll agree they look a lot better.

Anyway, without waffling on for too much longer, here are some images I took yesterday.

That looks ace and a manual :)

Pedals look great, do you have the link for them as I too wanted the drilled AC pedals
But the price sent me running

Hope to see your car in the flesh one day :) loving that colour

Gents, many thanks for the kind words.
LeeH, I'll dig out the invoice and send you a PM regarding the pedals.
The colour is one of the reasons why I bought the car - it's completely different to anything else you would normally see on the road. Granted, it isn't for everyone but it would be quite boring if everybody liked the same thing.
I hope to add to the current stable soon but even that car search has taken some 4 months!

Love the colour and what a beautiful example too wow!

Superbly presented in that location as well, very fitting for the marque, a gravel drive... Hope you can bring her along to Ace sometime and other meets as well.

20 I think is our youngest owner/member, excellent taste to boot...

Just need a new avatar picture of her, oh and welcome to the madness...

Love it....One of the nicest colour combo I've seen on a 3200...If not the nicest....A very rare car indeed in that colour...

i love it and the colour.

but 200 miles in a year! there really cant be much point in owning it lol, hope you have it out more this summer :)

and i bet people are often confused as to what car it is, its bad enough as it is without being in a colour not normally associated with the brand.

Fabulous EVO. Not seen that colour before, but it looks great, especially with that interior.

Now get out and drive the thing

Many thanks – I'll look out for an Ace event.

Super looking car!

Are there similar pedals available for the 4200 CC?

C
The pedals are available for a CC but the cost is very similar to that of AC pedals – in excess of £900. I may be able to find you another solution if you send me the measurements of the brake pedal.

A Gransport is a beautiful car to have. How are you getting on with it.

Stunning car, I was fortunate enough to see it in the flesh at the DK Engineering day last month - it's even more striking than the pictures show.
