My 996 sold about 4 years ago before they went up in value.

64391

Actually just about everything I sell goes up, if you want to make money by cars off me. All these have increased since I sold them.

TVR Grantura
Alpina B3s
Ducati 996
TVR Tuscan
E39 540i
E34 525i
Legacy spec B

Just sold an E93 M3, so buy one now they’re bound to go up.

I generally don't do bikes but in my ideal man cave I have a large arched window and stood proud of place in that window is a 916 Ducati. If anyone has ever been to Jamie Porters Alfa Workshop he use to have one sat in his office - a truly beautiful thing
Do you live anywhere near Jamie Porter? He is my go to guy for my Alfa's, I was there about 6 months ago and I think the Ducati was still there then. Incidently they refused to do a small job on the Gransport said they will only work on Alfa's

He was my go to Alfa specialist when he was on the tools but when he moved more to management the quality dropped so I stopped going. He did a lot of good work on my SZ but not so good on my Q4. In the last few years my current specialist has been undoing some of the sub -standard work he found.

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but exactly my experience. I use Felice Real down in Basildon now (and I teach Andrew Ward Kung Fu!) Funny old world :D

That's not good for any business.
The people you employ have to be up to your standards for it to continue working.
Customers not coming back should tell you that.

I'll put up three :
Golf GTi - look what that started...

TVR Griffith - drop dead looks that made TVR in the '90s.

And the Miura. Amazing what a tractor manufacturer can do when he puts his mind to it...

The MK 1 GTi was certainly an amazing car back in the late 70'S for sure loved all mine and Rallied a 79 one for over 20 years.

Agreed MK1 Golf GTi the car that really thrust the hot hatch in to the public eye or though arguable not the first. The Miura again probably the first supercar and mid engined as well. No arguing about the TVR Griffith looks but not really an icon just a development of the past TVR formula

The Muira certainly is Special and I think the opening scene of the 69 Italian Job says it all.
Just a Cool picture.View attachment 64410

That Miura was bought new by an 18 year old Italian kid.

With the prices of some things I think this was cheap
