Going to Monaco tomorrow, gonna attempt to go around the circuit in rush hour and then visit the casino.
Is there a dress code to go in there?

An expensive tan and a more expensive companion will help you blend in. Parking outside the casino is for regulars only, by the way. Strictly enforced, from what I remember.

Hope the tunnel is empty enough that you can make some noise through there - enjoy!

Dan, there's no dress code. Me and the chaps went at the MC weekend, and due to the fact that i went by plane (2 days only) due to some business that occurred, i only had a pair of sneakers. Not proud to say this, but a handbag cannot carry half of my wardrobe..

I'll be sticking my Go-Pro to the roof and will post the footage when I'm home, as you say fingers crossed for the tunnel!

Not sure about the expensive tan, I guess I'll have to see how far I get in a pair of shorts and touch of sunburn :D

Cool!
We should be fine then. Only really want have a quick scoot around to say I've been there, chuck a few euros into a fruit machine, win the jackpot and go.

What are the other 'must see' things whilst I'm there in MC?

Walk the F1 route, if you're in your car, do it!If in a taxi, tell the driver to show you. You'll feel like beeing on TV, or, much better in a race car..

You will love MC, roads are clean, buildings are too high, due to lack of space, living is rich. Eyes open and you'll admire Enzos, SLS's, GTs and 458s!

Miles (Emtee) won at the casino!

Give us some feedback then!

How you feeling Dan? Lord only knows how you got vertigo. You spent all your time in LM behind the wheel of a Lambo! I've slept on futons higher than that car!! :D

Smart casual should be fine but take wonga, not for the gambling, but for the bar!! Mucho expesivo.

Go for the slots, they did okay for me and easy enough to pick up in an evening.

Agree with Nikos on the circuit. Either early doors or in the wee small hours - get a cab and tell him you're in a rush. :D

Feeling much better thanks Miles. Although I did attempt to go swimming in the sea today, that was a weird experience not to be repeated anytime soon. Tomorrow I'll be (attempting) driving for the first time since Sunday, it really has been quite annoying/debilitating.

Interestingly the symptoms of dizziness and lack of balance got less with a bit of drink inside me... And then came back after a few more ;)

Sound's more like an inner ear infection Dan; had that myself a few years ago & wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Walked the track and then drove around it. Even though it was busy with traffic, I was so happy to drive around it. Driving around to hairpin and then through the relatively empty tunnel with a lot of pedestrians loving the noise and taking pics was awesome. Afterwards I nipped to Italy for a Pizza, which is kinda cool. And I'll tell you what, it was possibly the best pizza I've ever tasted! Made with fresh tomatoes, the sauce was to die for.
Off to St Tropez today to work on the tan...

(didn't have any luck in the casino, but got in no problem in shorts and trainers)

All right, don't rub it in!

I have been struggling at my desk all week, hearts not in it, wish I was frolicking in the French countryside, with the fresh smell of octane in the air.

Enjoy, glad your feeling better an laughed at the reverse drunkenness with alcohol......cheep date!
