So.............is it acceptable to wear Maserati branded T shirts, ties, cuff links, baseball caps etc etc and if so when is it cool and when is it naff??

It would be interesting to hear people's views.:)

Cheers

If you wore it all together, I guess it would look a bit naff :p

no, seriously...I think some items look ok (I like the subtle t-shirt with the grill),

my rule is...If I like it, I wear it!! couldn't give a toss what anyone else thinks.

Regards,

Enzo.

I've got a chuffin' wardrobe full of car regalia - various makes down the years. The only excuse I can offer is that family members never know what to get for birthdays and Crimbo so I've ended up with my catwalk collection. The latest thing was a Maserati Polo shirt which was designed for Italians and therefore doesn't fit!
Still, I shouldn't complain 'cos otherwise I'd be dressed by Oxfam.

I have just bought a Maserati trident lapel badge. It is made from white gold and is both small and discreet. It looks elegant on my black leather jacket and I am very pleased with it.

T-shirts are okay if you go retro, iconic and funky. Maybe something for the shop?

I think any large branding i.e. back of a jacket, front of t-shirt is just tacky. Kind of like chavs that have t-shirts with Giorgio on the front. Discrete very small logo's is fine. Just my opinion.

i'd probably buy and wear all of the various branded stuff i could get my paws on, if i wasn't so certain i'd look a bigger tit than i already do....

I have spent many hours musing this problem, and so far the whitelist includes:

Mug (this is actually compulsory)
Key Ring (looks nice with the fiat key)
Holdall bag (good for keeping keeping tut in)
Dressing Gown (this is bordeline, and I've yet to purchase)
Luggage Set (costs a million pounds)

Blacklist:

Any Tie (the person that's expectig you to wear the tie will hate you)
Cuff links (the trident shaped ones just make you look like a satanist)
Silk Bandana (no, that's not a typo)

I think what I'll have to do is buy the trousers, jumpers, coats, caps etc etc and wear them in the garden...

Very proud of my Maserati "kit". All items are elegant yet understated just like the cars ;)

Interesting....the general thrust seems to be it is OK so long as it it is very subtle/discreet, which is my view. I recall a saying - the larger the logo the lower the self esteem! l still struggle a bit because of the "look at me" factor, hence the need for significant discretion. Although there is a pair of cuff links I do like (not the trident shaped ones) I can't help feel it is still showing off, if I wore them, say, at work, so they are still in the shop.

For now I just have the official mug, which at £17 (Christmas present from the wife) is of astonishling poor quality, with neither the handle, nor Maserati, on straight - good old Italian hand made craftmanship!

Agree with the general feeling of discreetness, perhaps its down to the good old British need to be reserved, might be a good idea to adopt the European / Mediteranean idea , you got it flaunt it ,but not quite in the realms of a Harlem rapper  but somewhere in between, but still cant see me wearing the latest armani jam jar shades blinged with gold or the crocodile boots with gold buckles just aint me , im still stuck in the seventies where i probably felt my most cool, levi jeans/jacket Tshirt non logo'd and trainers thats how i feel at my most comfortable  there's too much choice nowdays
