I just put a little tribute of the Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale together, from whats available on youtube.

I think for road cars the Maserati wins the best v8 sounding engine. But there are other cars that sound good for the v10 and v12 engines category.

The F1 V12 and 10’s are in a different league, they truly are the pack leaders.

I actually think the GT V8 sounds better on video anyway than the F50, never stood next to an F50 so can only go on videos.

All subjective, I still stand by my statement, there’s something about the GT noise, For me personally it hits an absolute sweet spot.

The noise really is something else. I think the video does a good job, but the in person experience is amazing.

“The best” is about personal choice, but for me it is pretty close to the top of the list.

My Strad sounds better (to me) than any of my V12 Ferrari’s. In fact, the best sounding Ferrari I had was a 360 with a Tubi Style system fitted. That was an absolute screamer.

A Stradale wouldn't sound like a sport. Same exhaust but different tuning, ecu. Long debate there....

At least that is the case in the UK where the Stradale has a pair of central exit pipes, quite close together, and the sport/MC-Shift/GT/GTS all exit towards the corners of the rear bumper and therefore have more curvature to the pipework before reaching the boxes
