Newton is coming over Sunday morning. If anyone else wishes to get their car hooked up at the same time (FOC) please PM me.

I went over to Aldous' this morning for a post Modena run diagnostic check of the car...

3,200 miles of wringing its neck out there with all the passes and the track session, all the tunnel fun and amusing the locals; have a guess at the clutch wear?

A reminder I was on 68.35% with a degradation index of 2729 before at 47,500 miles on the clutch...

Both kind of right: wear is now 69.62% = 1.27% but amazingly the degradation factor is down even lower to 1872 on a 51,000 + clutch!!!

Thanks so much to Aldous for his generous time and assistance :) Couldn't be happier... except see my Induction thread starting shortly :)

I popped up to Chris's house this morning to have a go at improving the clutch take up. His PIS was set to the factory default of 5.1mm. We dropped it to 4.8mm and then 4.7mm. I think we could have gone lower without any dragging on the flywheel but it's a balance between shift speed and comfort. We decided to set it to 4.8mm and see how Chris gets on.

I did a clutch wear reading and am hoping that the next time I read it it will have gone down (common on the Ferrari TCU).

Bloody super, Voicey. Can't thank you enough!

I meant to ask, do you know anything about the parking mode that the very early (inc mine) has?

No worries on the clutch set up - happy to help.

I've not come across Parking Mode before, it's not something in a Ferrari TCU. I've had a look through all my Maserati technical docs and cannot see a reference to it. I will do some digging....
