Maserati 3200gt 1999. In car high pitched whistle noise when the turbo kicks in. Changed the Brake servo TWICE so 3 servos later and still high pitch whistle when I accelerate and the turbo kicks on. Below this the car can be driven.

It’s not a blue car with blue interior by any chance? I had the same problem and couldn’t get it fixed. Changed every vacuum pipe on the car.

Have the boost hoses ever been replaced? my 2001 model would pop off one hose low down OSF area, likely below air filter. Did not have your whistle but did loose boost. happened for sure before 2014 so my car lasted 13 years before any hose related issues. If yours are all original then 21 years on can only guess what might be less than perfectly sealed. When mine goes back on the road will fit a full set of new hoses and fasteners.

That whistle is either the air hole in your fuel cap or depreciation. In which case it'll be your fuel cap as they finished depreciating years ago when the price of scrap levelled off.

That looks like the one way valve that boosts the vacuum to the brake servo on the overrun

I recon Its called a Keiser Valve!

If this has failed, this is what's causing your whistling noise..
