Longtube manifolds for GranTurismo (and QPV)

Very interesting, Cerberati does have more torque slightly higher in the rev range 572Nm at close to 4500 rpm but roughly 535Nm at 3500rpm.
That is with custom unequal length manifolds due to VERY limited space. Engine is from 2009 Granturismo auto
The auto-engine is bound to make more torque, the cam's are set with less overlap, also a longer primary runner would help bring torque up like a race car running a intake restrictor (very very long air runner straight to the throttlebody)

Looking forward to what it sounds like on a MC shift with x pipe! Would imagine the crackles on overrun must be insane?
The video is on a stock X-Pipe with the resonator, depending on the tune the crackles are very very nice as is.
Today was open tag along day here in the shop for GT owners wanting to be passenger in the test car

Would be interesting to see the setup on a 4.2. Those engine mounts are in really bad place.
Hard to tell, the simplest we could do to quantify would be VE calculate it, but the F136QC in your's has the following differences
  • Cam timing different, I recall the duration too
  • Bore/Stroke ratio slightly different
If you where to VE calculate back 498 / 4.7 = 105.95 HP/L X 4.2 = 445 HP (502 NM)
This off-course isn't that super straight forward but a rather rough ball park aka just like a F136YE 4.7 does out of the box.

That said you're nearby, i'd work you a deal;)

Its always nice to read things i dont understand. We will have a chat in a few months when im back in for some stuff

Id be curious to see what gains are possible in the dry sumped 4.2 F136 found in the 4200.
For Quattroporte F1 yes, we have done testing, the connection to the X-Pipe we haven't designed yet
138 chassis, (4200gt, coupe, spyder, gransport) no, as that's totally a different layout around the steering rack.
Early 02-05 EU cars have manifolds that are quite reasonable, we will have improved down-pipes for those in January, (those are restricted from factory)

So with a proper map and installation it’s gonna be roughly £5.5k

We'll have pricing for the catalyst version very soon.
Those won't need mapping, off course with mapping you'll have maximum gains.

Install time we've managed to get down with V3 re-design, it takes 5-7 hours to install

Pricing is on a par with custom manifolds for V12, pro rated, if you see what I mean. Seems fair, given the dev, build effort and likely volumes. I hope they sell well.

Step up, young @Zep!
