The garden typically features 4 or 5 rugby balls at any time maybe 1 football, 1 basket ball, a cople of tennis balls for cricket etc.... but the neighours about twice as many till they throw them back!

Spent all day on the car! Started at 10.30 and finished at 7. Change spark plugs, clean engine bay, full clean inside and out, waited for the sun to pass over and then full polish. Knackered now and have a sore back (getting old). Still, nothing a few tins won't sooth, well a few tins and ralgex...........

To be fair I had a lazy day yesterday Loz, and given I was getting nowhere with the crossword (which always irks) I thought I'd make meself useful. A quick mental scan through the list of things to be done on the house and the car won easily. :D

Think people are grabbing what for most could well be the last drop of serious sun untill next year , and frankly i dont blame them , as a sad syndrome tortoise the longer i can put off my hibernation the better, whilst educating my neighbours with Positively 4th street hahaha

regards loz

I think nail on the head there fella that's what I have been doing anyway cant blame anyone else for ignoring the forum whilst we have this lovely weather.

I took the Opel out the garage yesterday, fist time since Le Mans. Could not get any gears. The clutch was working you could hear and feel it. I think the clutch plate had stuck to the fltwheel.

Spent all afternoon bashing the bell housing, nothing.

Gave up and had a beer in the garden with my dad instead.

After about 2 hours of sunning and beering I got dad to help me push it back in the garage.

Stuck my foot on the clutch and 'ping' the clutch plate freed itself.
