Yep Frank, it's been a case of having to wait for the good things to come to us, at least that's what I hope when she's back on the road.

Loz, thought you were gonna break into Jaz Man style and say "Mmmm Nice"

Just insured her again and you know how they say there's laid up insurance for when your car is off the road, well I found that it wasn't that much cheaper than the normal price and then you have to pay an admin fee to convert so just not worth it.

Managed to get an increase in the agreed value as it's been at the figure I first bought her at. Not good given the values of classc cars (not that I'd wish to cash in), just in case.

Will try to catch up with what's been happening on here in the next few weeks.

Have heard that the fuel tank is back in the car as is the rebuilt LHM components. Engine bay has been degreased and may only require some localised touch up. Engine and gearbox are re-united.

Was awaiting replacement rubber pipes for things like fuel lines etc and then we should be ready for the engine to go back in. Guys will look at the front diff seal before the prop shaft goes back in (just a Salisbury Diff as per Jags).

Will try yo go round Saturday and get you guys some more Petro-pornography.

Engine update

Ok,

Just had an update. They've finished cleaning up the engine bay last week and all rubber pipes have been replaced as needed.

And on Monday the engine went back in the car.

Some minor items needed such as copper washers for the clutch slave cylinder, checking over and hopefully early next week they will turn the key.......

I've requested a photo or two so as soon as it arrives I'll post up for you to enjoy.
