Hi all
I've been having intermittent problems with my Coupe where after reversing the car out of a parking space or following a lot of downshifts the gear would go into Neutral and CC light would come on. I'd turn off the car, wait a couple of minutes and would go back to normal. Otherwise, no slipping whatsoever when driving the car, clutch is showing as having 60% life remaining (I know its not 100% accurate).
As a starting point, ended up replacing the F1 Pump + Relay + new F1 oil (bled the system and replaced).
The car now does something very strange: it does not go into 4th gear.
Sequence is as follows when shifting up: 1 > 2 > 3 > slight hesitation > 5 > 6
when shifting down: 6 > 5 > N (then I have to manually shift down) where it will either go back up to 6 if I'm going above a certain speed or 3 if I'm going below a certain speed then > 2 > 1 with no issues.
If I double shift from 3 to 5 it works fine and the same from 5 to 3.
Does anyone know where I can look next or what the cause may be? Is there a gearbox learning process that has to be done following an F1 pump change?
Is my clutch gone??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
