Is this coolant OK?

Hi guys,

As part of service I’m doing on my Spyder, I am also replacing the thermostat. I’ve drained down all the system. Replacing the thermostat shortly and then will need to fill the coolant back up.

I already have a bottle of this in the garage. Comma Xstream G40 readymixed. It’s approved by Audi/Bentley/Lamborghini etc. It’s red in colour which is also what came out of the car.

Will this be OK to use? It was expensive stuff so if I can save myself some money and only have to buy another 5 litres instead of 10 litres of something else that would be great.

Also, your owner manual should have details of all manufacture recommended fluids for your model as well as the quantities required

Thanks all. I decided if it’s good enough for Lamborghini and Bentleys, it’ll be alright for the Maserati.

The colour is the giveaway…if it’s blue stick with blue and dont mix them. If you do, they react and turn to jelly which in turn will block your coolant system
