There’s actually only about 6 C3 corvettes running in Europe, a lot run in series with no noise regs. There’s a couple of guys who’ve had silencers made at a place in Stoke, I just didn’t want to travel that far. But I will go there now.

A couple also run under floor exhausts but I don’t have the room as I’ve lowered the floor to get enough interior room.
You will get there Tim as your dedication to this Project has been 110% mate.
They will have to reimburse you and hopefully you can get the right job done.

I know I can be a bit particular or a perfectionist but this beggars belief. Took the new exhaust off to have a look and I was right to be dubious about what they said they were going to do being quiet enough. It obviously wasn’t so they’ve just welded a plate in the exhaust and drilled 4 small holes in it. No wonder it didn’t like full throttle.

So, good natured discussion with the exhaust people and I’m more confident in them now although there communication wasn’t great. Theyrv actually made a rake of four baffles in the exhaust and that plate was sized the same as the hole in the exhausting side pipe glass pack, which looking at it last night actually has no glass in it! They’re going to try a few things but I don’t think they’ll get it both quiet enough and flowing enough in the side pipe. So it maybe a plan B
