I dont think the Panda will be possible, they are still too expensive even at £3800 so instead, i would fancy one of these, still Italian and well priced.

I have just been quoted on my dad's policy is a named driver £1516.71 not bad. Punto Sporting could be on the cards.

I find it too much insurance.....panda is that......
Save up little more as the punto is not reliable like the panda, you will spend more on it in the long run.....

The Punto is a nice looking car Adam and chep...But with Dem...You really want the Panda so don't do anything rash...you may regreat it.....The Panda will be far more fun and prtty cool as well.

Yeah but to buy the Panda and insure it will cost about 5k+. I dont have enough to buy the Panda and my dad says he doesn't have a spare 2k at the moment to fund the insurance and the price of the Panda. The Punto is a lot cheaper and i dont think they are that unreliable, still pretty nippy as well.

Water pumps and head gaskets are common on puntos.....
I dont mind them but i always say go for what you want as you will love it when you in it and know its your dream 1st car....

The punto is 2500 right? The insurance is 1500 right? Thats 4k..
The panda as you say is 1k more cos you say you need 5k for it....
Worth a weekend job for a month adam.....

The Panda will be about 5.5K. I could get that Punto for about £2250, just been reading on Fiat Forum and the face lift models were generally better and are less troublesome..I do like the Punto Sporting, i originally thought of one before the Panda but I hoped the Panda's price would have fallen a little quicker than i expected.

You dont need 5500 for the panda.....4k gets you one

plus 1500 for the insurance=5.5k. With the Punto i could get the lot for £3800, huge difference.
