Try and look into it Adam, because in your first year you have no bonus to protect...so may as well save £100

Yeah, 1500 is still a lot, but the going rate for a young male driver...couple of years no claims and that will come down quite a bit, then hit 21 an it will come down again...
my daughter started at about 900, couple of years later and hers is now just over 500.

it will gradually come down, i think by the time i am 21, 3 years NCB, it should be about £600 if not less.

Got my sisters insured on the A2 they are 26 and cant get cheaper than £700...
Its group 5 and a diesel....

She has a classic mini Dem (1987)...currently with Churchill...had an '04 corsa before, not much difference in insurance premium.

Was not expensive when i was growing up, had bmws, alfas, fast novas and always reasonable on insurance...

My wife has been driviving since she was 15 in the states but was allowed to here for 1year then when she had to take
her test her insurance went up ! Because suddenly she had only had a full licence for under 1year
