funnily enough mine need doing as well, just one of my rather long to do list jobs after her recent service/ inspection from F-tech, so ill be watching this with interest.

get the gaskets from Maserati, dont get them from from others, i had one replace by a specilyst indy and the gasket used was hard and leaked again 18months later compared to the other side that wasn't leaking and was still soft when removed.

dont need to use sealant just make sure areas are clean.

would suggest getting the secondary air valve gasket as you will need to remove these.

are you replacing the variators ? as your have the covers off maybe worth it... if so don't forget the oil filter

What he said, Hylomar Blue, its magic, literally.

Manual for the Ghibli suggests some sealant where there are joins with other covers - ie front cam and rear cam covers.

Small dab of something - I used Hymolar blue

Basically they break down after a year or so and cause all sorts of misfire issues. I dont think they are very good, OEM only is the recommendation these days.

Not always. I've had mine in since the original group buy and they're still working perfectly. I've had another set waiting to go in for the last 3 years.
