Just like to say and high to everyone for keeping this place ticking over nicely, and modestly welcome myself back to the forum after a brief sabatical holls and decorating , looking to get a few posts racking up at the weekend , braking myself in gently and catching up on mails and threads and stuff, oh by the way Maf i need more fibre cloths can you still get them

Hi mate, good to see you back. Funnily enough I just posted that I can take some microfibres to the Rockingham day - are you going?

For anyone else interested please see my post in the 'other' section - 36 Detailer's Choice 40x40cm microfibre cloths for the bargain price of £21 plus postage at cost if needed.

Hopefully Miles, spoke with Matty earlier and i'll do me best to make it , we were due to be headed down to Canterbury this weekend but im pretty sure it will be cancelled so it couls be looking good , he mentioned , your picking up the Beastie today , good luck , say cheerio to that fat wallet you been carrying around , im sure being re-united with that grin will make it less painfull hehe

The Ipod is the nuts, it worked so thanks for the pointers. Took an age taking the dash apart to route the cabling. Now I have the Iphone in a landscape cradle on a sucker on the windscreen, directly above the central air vent.

What I did was take the vent out and drill out the rear screw hole and routed the cable through it, then down the back into the head unit.

It was a bit tricky as I had to cut the lead to get it through the screw hole and then had to rejoin 8 mini wires, but I did it. Now I can control the whole thing through the steering wheel, and I also run FreeNav on the iphone and the audio instructions now come through the hifi also and it charges, brilliant!
