Hello I am new to this site and the world of Maserati ownership. I treated myself to a 4200 spyder back in June and love it to bits. Looking forward to speaking to other owners for advice and general chit chat and also sharing my limited knowledge of Maserati in general. :thumb1:

Hi arfur. Welcome to THE Maserati forum. As a spyder owner myself my advice to you is; treat yourself to a straight through exhaust and use the car as hard and as often as possible. They are fantastic cars that respond well to a good thrashing. Enjoy!

Welcome Arfur from a fellow newbie. I only joined this forum a few weeks ago and am only 2 weeks in to GS ownership, but I'm enjoying the car (and it's foibles!) and the guys on this forum are a top bunch of blokes who are always quick to offer advice and help.

When you've settled in, we'll start on the quick banter as well :)

Arfur, it's always useful to know where people are so local members can offer help, advice and sometimes shoulders to cry on as well as comparisons of different non-functional bits.

Simon - what colour's your GS? I really like it. It looks somewhere between a deep grey and a blue in your avatar.

It's grey Adam....Same as Matts old car.....Think its just a light in the pic gining that blue impression....Simon how about some bigger pictures when you get a chance...

Arfur would love to see some pictures of yours as well...Spyder that is.

Hey Arfur and welcome to our humble corner of the internet.

I know Rugeley well. I have an Opel GT and used to visit a well known guy called Tom May of Irmscher UK, the Ope/lVauxhall tuning house.

Sadley he died recently but I am sure you probably saw his green Opel GT driving about as its a small place.

Grigio Alfieri apparently - or is it Asti Spumante? :) Whatever the name it's a slightly browner shade of grey after a shopping trip to Cardiff in the rain today.

Here are a couple of bigger pics bug only taken on the iPhone in poor light. I'll take some with the DSLR the next time it's clean and post some more...

No wonder you like it, Adam. It's the same colour as your GTS! I think it's a great colour - had it on my 3200.
