I had to send 2 of my new Lotus back to the factory as the paint was shocking....Nut then again that was Lotus....BMW you do expect a bit more...

Andrew, how are the finding her...are you getting used to her and enjoying the performance and handling............On my travels to the big smoke saw a far few M3's and must say everyone caught my eye..........

As far as I am aware orange peel is caused by too much air pressure at the nozzle so should be sorted at the factory. It would seem that it is a common trait amongst modern BMs as both of mine have more orange peel than Del Monte.

Have heard it's common with BMW's Benny......Especially M3 as a couple of magazines commented on it when they came out....It's not good enough really.

Bms and mercs have it......i have a panel beater friend and hes always told me they the worst ones.....
