the price thing is a bit of a misnomer. The way inflation is going, used cars dont seemt o be dropping like they used to. Also, with the newer models going up all the time, I think the re-sale of a number of models is staying pretty flat.

Look at the F430 - the 458 equivalent is over £200k. The Murci replacement, Aventador is c£250k....the prices of the older cars will be held up by this. When the replacement for the GT comes out (due 2013?), the prices will, IMO, be far higher than the current model, They did the same with the GS to GT - GS was what, £66k new? You cant buy ANY Maserat for £66k new today.

Look at the F439 - the 458 equivalent is over £200k. The Murci replacement, Aventador is c£250k....the prices of the older cars will be held up by this. Very well said and all true.

New QP will be £100k basic I would guess.

New GT is 2015 according to EVO.

Dealer has probably offered him £33k PX and he is trying to sell it off for a few more quid quick.

Bugger this recession...other wise I would have this as a 4.7GTS is way more than I, a poor Civil Servant, can afford and two years ago I could have pushed for this...sigh

A 4.2 with Larini could sound just as good?????

Peter,
Get yourself a good 3200 AC, they will keep up with anything if driven right, as proven on the MC trip???
Hahaha
Cheers

Hate to be fussy but I'm not a fan of black cars. Don't get me wrong, they look great.....but the effort to keep them looking tip top is to much for me....

Dont I know it!

...but I love washing the car (sad) and I would have another 'flat' black car again as you can fill the stone chips then colour sand them and polish to completely remove them:

Had to happen and good that it did. Was £2k higher but silver and miles would have put some people off.

That Silver car kind of shows its age a little though, the seat looks quite dark and the steering wheel is very shiny.

Probably the owner had a heavy perspiration problem, not used to the speed, or maybe overweight, who knows??
