was looking to get this added to my chrimble list but weekend I took the car out which mile up the road it started to misfirer then lose power and then I think the car want to tell me there was a problem - the engine light came on, so took it easy home - switch off (hoping this may reset) at which point it wouldn't even start. called out engineer and we both took longer to find the OBD port than it was to reset the error codes. I restarted the car and no issues or warnings, stopped it and restarted again and still no issues - took the car out for about 40 mins or so and everythings fine. very strange

so now will be looking to get this, so I can check and clear the code myself. I was about to get the digimoto but did some further research and come across various apps for you fans of Apple (iPhone or iPad) also some apps for Andriods all look good and provide some interesting features. I've got a blackberry

Thanks for that EnzoMC, all very interesting. JamesC69 had his engine light cleared in the Lakes by an Android phone using Torque, Bluetooth and a 3G connection. I was very impressed. I'm hoping it comes as an app for Apple, and if it does, I'm getting it, although REV looks good too. I might have to get that instead.

These things are a must for modern performance car drivers.

The simplest way to go is to buy an all in one unit off EBay for about £20 and just sling it in the glove box.

The IPhone systems are cool but you still need 2 parts and a wireless connection so more chance of it not working.

If it does Alfa/*** it will work on the Maserati.

misses is a big apple fan, so think its time for her iphone upgrade and I'll have the old one

would be interested to see if anyone gets any of these and what they find, if I get the old iPhone I'll post up some comments - take it you can run the phone without a sim connection

BennyD - Torque dose looks good, yep only for Andriod so looking at either DashCommand or Rev
